Alone in the world
Clouds over mountains
I’ve been tricked and trapped on a different dimension, I don’t have any clues of how I got this far but I’m here for an unknown amount of time, could be forever. I feel on hold, like I’m between eras and in between people I don’t know at all. I’m also unknown.
Soy las rosas, you're my ocean
I will never stop doing what I love,
I love the simple things in life,
the ocean brings me joy, it reminds me of how big and tiny things are,
I see so much beauty everywhere
and at the same time so much dirt and crazyness.
This is a whole new world.
Another visit to Chinatown
Well, here are some random photos of a neon sign from a restaurant in Chinatown, a cool bathroom at a Restaurant on the North shore, Me in a dressing room and palm trees. Enjoy.
being hard on hardboiled eggs
Hi,
This is just me venting about hardboiled eggs, I usually cook them myself but today I ran out of them so I went to the local market to get some, I think it’s the last time I get hardboiled eggs from anyone else, I’ve been disappointed 4 times already, at the same market!, I keep thinking It was just that one time but no, again, the eggs weren’t cooked right so my question is, how can you not cook an egg correctly?, This is the easiest way of cooking an egg, you don’t even have to open it!!!
I’m conflicted with myself because I feel so irritated for this, food is so sacred to me and when I crave something so simple like this I expect nothing but to enjoy it and try to go back home mentally as there we have some egg tacos I used to eat, made with fresh corn tortilla and Mexican rice and salsa, sometimes with a Chile relleno in it too, whatever!.
I’m grateful for being able to eat well and to satisfy all my cravings. I know there’s people out there dying of hunger and they would love a bad hardboiled egg. But it was suppose to be a delicious first bite of my day and it got all ruined. So there, I’m done!
I know I need to chill about it but I also needed to express how I feel, I get very irritated when I don’t eat what I want.
I don’t care if I’m right or wrong I just wanted to vent about it, Thank you for reading me and I hope you never get an egg not cooked how you liked and I also wish you never have to starve.
I’m lucky! Just not happy when my eggs are not cooked well.
Okay, thank you and BYE!
Allow all of it to exist
Coming to an end
Hey,
As March coming to an end I’m feeling proud of how I’ve manage to stay afloat and hopeful to an unknown future, I’m certain more challenges are around the corner for me and even tho I can’t make as much art as I’d want to, I will try to stay creative at my 2 jobs. Always grateful for the people who gives me the opportunity to work.
I’m so lucky to be here, I don’t understand how I even landed so far.
Cheers to the last week of the month and I can’t wait to see what’s in the books for this Spring.
Thank you,
T.

Happy Spring!
Can’t get tired of admiring these beauties. Flora here is gorgeous! I wish nothing but a wonderful season.
Thank you for the Birthday wishes
I feel incredibly grateful to be able to celebrate my time alive in such a beautiful place with good friends I love, I felt loved and got the blessings of a double rainbow the following morning of my actual birthday.
I couldn’t do everything I had planned because is just impossible to do so much in one day but I took myself to the Botanical Garden in the morning, had ramen for lunch, did some Grocery shopping and I went to my favorite bar at the beach for a Piña Colada.
My favorite part of the day was my time with my friends Luis and Dora and a fun Facetime call with my favorite NY peeps!, we went for Happy Hour at another favorite bar on the North Shore and had dinner at a Tapas restaurant we all tried for the first time.
My mom called, my best friend’s called. Thank you all for the Birthday wishes, YOU ALL MADE ME SMILE…
My dessert was banana empanadas with Vanilla Ice cream
Surfing with mi amiga aDora-da
Michelada the Day after to keep the vibe going

“LET THE WIND TAKE YOU AWAY”
swimming in the middle of a Distant Island.
When it was my time to go in the water, the sun wasn’t even out because a big cloud was covering its light, I swam towards the others while adjusting the snorkel and within seconds I saw the sharks swimming below me, they were in different levels, some seemed very distant and others way closer to us, a bunch of them.
PHOTOGRAPHY BY CULLEN MORRIS
I felt so little, so alone and so full of life at the same time, I was in the middle of an ocean I don’t know, with people I’ve never seen in my life surrounded by sharks and the immensity of the ocean. Not too long after we dove into the water, rain started to pour over us and a beautiful rainbow appeared on the horizon, sun was out but still kinda hidden in between clouds, it was so magical, it was too much! Way too much, I’m happy to share this moment with you all, I’m forever wishing to share these experiences with people I love but I’m too long gone, too far away.
Thank you Cullen Morris, he was part of the crew and he got to snap beautiful photos like the ones in this post. Can you believe these ?
I’m forever grateful for my health first of all, second grateful for being up to a challenge.
Gracias por leerme and Aloha to you all,
Bomba.

DAGGER
“I’m gonna rip your heart out
and bury it in the sand,
so the ocean can take it away”
This is my self protection amulet, my weapon.
In a symbolic way, I wanna use this dagger for stealing someone’s heart and at the same time to protect myself from a broken heart.
I’ve carried this piece from New York to Los Angeles, California, I had it in my lap and sometimes under my seat on the plane, we made it to Laguna where I thought I would move for the winter but there were other plans cooking in the meantime.
I took my dagger to one of my favorite beaches there at Sunset time but I wasn’t happy with how it looked with the orange tones from the sunset and I had no time to try another day so I had to wait a couple months until I got to my final destination and felt good to light it up. Finally February reminded me I had to use it so I could finally cut your chest in half and rip your heart out…

Feliz de estar
Wet on wet
It’s been rainy, it’s been wet and humid, the other day i went swimming under the rain, the waves were crazy but i go into the shallow by the beach, I felt amazing, almost afraid of being there with no one else around me.
one of my favorite days of last summer I was in the water a couple friends under the rain, there was still a ray of sunshine in the sky but mostly cloudy, heavy drops falling, then thunders, beautiful waves, it was so magical, we paddle back out to running away from lighting, it was awesome, i actually rode a wave for a few seconds and then I fell but that day is on the top of my list.
There’s something so beautiful about rain falling over the ocean,
do you agree?
love,
Bombi.
Tinys
I love this new tiny artworks I’ve paint, they’re 4”X4” I’m currently enjoying my time waking up very early in the am and painting in my porch or at a small gallery where I help.
I dream with a large studio where I can paint big “Distant Island” paintings and make neon artwork but for now I do whatever I can with what I have.
I hope you enjoy checking out my posts,
Teresa.
